Belize Advances in World Cup Qualifiers

Belize City, March 27, 2008 - Belize has advanced to the next stage of the World Cup qualifying matches by winning the series versus St. Kitts & Nevis. On Wednesday March 26th Belize played against the island nation for the second time. The game ended 1-1, giving Belize the lead in the series after having defeated St. Kitts 3-1 in their previous match in Guatemala.
Belize will now face the football power house Mexico.
